Job summary

Ziegler Inc. is offering an Intern Technician role in Minnesota. You will assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines and construction or agricultural equipment in a shop environment, while learning from senior technicians.

Qualified students are enrolled in a two-year program, maintain good grades, and possess a personal tool set. The role includes a safety-sensitive pre-employment drug test and opportunities for mentorship and scholarships.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a two-year degree program in diesel engine mechanics, construction and/or agricultural equipment mechanics or related study.
• Maintain good grades.
• Receive positive recommendations from instructors.
• Own mechanic tool set.
• This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement.
• Ability to maintain safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines and equipment in a shop.
• Learn from senior technicians to develop hands-on mechanical skills.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, timely manner to ensure value for work performed.
