Job summary

Advantage Truck Group (ATG), the largest DTNA Dealer Group in New England, is hiring Diesel Technicians for the 2nd shift with 2+ years of experience. You will inspect, repair, and overhaul buses, trucks, and heavy equipment, diagnosing malfunctions and consulting with customers.

The role offers a 2nd shift with two schedule options (4x10 or 5x8), a competitive hourly rate ($22-$46 based on experience), overtime at time and a half, and a $5 shift differential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Diesel Technician experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. and work in physically demanding positions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and overhaul buses, trucks, and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and consult with customers.
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brake systems, transmissions, etc.)

What We Offer

• $22-$46/ hr., based on experience
• Monthly Performance bonuses

• Second shift flexible schedules + $5 shift differential
  • Four 10-hour shift schedule (2:00pm-12:30am)
  • Five 8-hour shift schedule (3:00pm-11:30pm)

Requirements

• 2 or more years of Diesel Technician experience is required
• Current, valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. and work in physically demanding positions (bending, kneeling, standing for long periods).
• Technical/trade school certificate, dealership experience, CDL, and DOT health card are a plus
