Job summary

HardRock Infrastructure Services in Texas is seeking diesel and heavy equipment shop mechanics to repair and maintain heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers. This role requires inspecting, diagnosing, and servicing equipment to minimize downtime.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional Saturdays. Candidates must have their own tools and be able to perform diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and A/C work, and prepare units for DOT inspections.

Qualifications

• Inspect, diagnose and service diesel engines and related systems.
• Repair heavy equipment, trucks and trailers to OEM specs.
• Ability to work on electrical, hydraulic and airbrake systems.
• Must have own tools and pass drug test/background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and service heavy equipment and trucks.
• Perform DOT pre-trip and safety inspections preparation.
• Maintain and repair trailers (flatbed, step deck, utility).
• Utilize diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.

Job description

HardRock Infrastructure Services has immediate openings for diesel / heavy equipment shop mechanics to repair and maintenance heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers.

7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday and occasional Saturday work

Requirements:

Requires the inspection, diagnoses, repair, and service of equipment, heavy duty trucks (Peterbilt and Kenworth), trailers (flatbed, step deck and utility), and tools.

Knowledge of diesel engines, A/C systems, clutch work, electrical, airbrake systems, and make ready for DOT inspections is required.

Heavy Equipment repairs on Vermeer drilling machines, mud pumps, reclaimers, and excavators.

Must have knowledge of diesel, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems

Must have your own tools
