Job summary

Venergy Group is seeking a skilled Generator Maintenance Technician to service diesel-electric generating equipment and related systems across multiple project sites nationwide. The role requires diagnosing, repairing, and modifying generator sets and ATS systems, with opportunities to expand expertise into HVAC and mechanical disciplines.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or vocational training and at least five years of experience in generator maintenance, plus a valid Class C

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of maintenance and repair of diesel-electric generating equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Willingness to travel nationwide to support project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance, repair, and modification of diesel-electric generators and related systems.
• Modify diesel generator systems, including installation of pre-heaters, battery chargers, and fuel systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel standby generator and ATS system problems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, check for leaks, replace parts, and calibrate systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and system modifications.
