Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning generators according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Performing routine maintenance and inspections on generators.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replacing faulty parts and components as needed.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Complying with safety regulations and protocols.
• Working with diesel and natural gas engines.
• Working with Automatic Transfer Switches.

Skills

2+ years of experience with commercial Backup Power Generators

Engine and generator troubleshooting

Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot generator issues

Knowledge of generator safety protocols

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
