Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in Orlando, FL is seeking a Diesel & Automotive Technician/Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and conduct safety inspections.

This full-time role offers weekly pay, benefits within 30 days, and opportunities for growth within a national company. You will work Monday–Friday 1pm–9:30pm and must have tools and a valid license.

Qualifications

5+ years' hands-on diesel/auto maintenance.
Valid driver's license.
Own tools and toolbox required.
Able to meet physical demands as described.
Able to pass pre-employment screenings including DOT if required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Document repairs and complete work orders.
Maintain a clean and organized work area with tools.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations.
