Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6+ years of related maintenance/repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must provide and maintain essential mechanic tools and toolbox for daily tasks.
• Must complete SpartanNash certification for safe driving skills (training provided).
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel tractors and trailers.
• Discuss work orders with supervisor and set priorities; document maintenance activities.
• Complete DOT inspections and related paperwork accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with other departments and mentor entry level technicians.
• Maintain service records and repair documentation; ensure regulatory compliance.
