Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, under supervision. You will support our drivers as they run their routes with a state-of-the-art fleet and gain exposure to advanced vehicle technology.

Typical duties include basic inspections, oil changes, tire changes, light electrical work, and following SOPs. 1–3 years of experience and a valid driver's license are preferred; diesel maintenance training and

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid Driver's License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• A able to conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and the sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
• Completes applicable Company training programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
