Job summary

Pepin Distributing Company, LLC in the Tampa Bay area is seeking a Fleet Technician to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment and commercial trucks. You will work on chassis, engine, electrical, and HVAC systems, support drivers, and perform preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers.

Requires 2–5 years of diesel mechanic experience, knowledge of Cummins software, and a CDL is preferred. Competitive pay, benefits, tool allowance, and a 401(k) are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of diesel mechanic experience on commercial trucks.
• Strong knowledge of Cummins software systems.
• Current Commercial Driver's License preferred.
• Ability to work well with others and stay safety minded.
• Must have your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance.
• Run road calls to complete repairs on the road.
• Maintain accurate equipment files and repair checklists.
• Keep service truck stocked and area clean.
• Attend meetings and training; ensure safety compliance.
• Must maintain Class-A CDL.
