Job summary

Qualifications

• Some vocational or community college coursework in a related field is required.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required.
• Current CDL license is a plus and mobile equipment experience helps.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Evaluate and repair any truck or equipment not in good working order.
• Oil and lubricate moving parts to ensure performance.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts and document accordingly.
• Order and install replacement parts for machines.
• Maintain shop areas, tools, and supplies and keep organized.
• Communicate daily with management about issues and scheduling.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Collaborates with product manager or plant engineer on new products and modifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
