Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Fargo, ND is seeking a diesel technician responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel semi-trucks and trailers, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

You will conduct DOT inspections, repair air brake and electrical systems, replace components, and service suspension, hubs and fifth wheels, while maintaining accurate service records. Flexible hours and some travel are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Completion of safe driving certification (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Assess and execute preventive maintenance schedules
• Collaborate with supervisors on work priorities and issue resolution
• Utilize maintenance systems for documentation
• Perform DOT inspections, repair air brake and electrical systems, replace components, and service suspension, hubs, and fifth wheels on tractors and trailers
• Diagnose refrigeration issues, repair electrical components, and maintain service records
• Service hydraulic liftgates (preferred)
