Job summary

Qualifications

3+ years of diesel mechanic experience with heavy equipment
Experience on trucks, trailers, excavators, forklifts
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
Experience with Davie 4 diagnostic software
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Foundation Brake Certification required; Cummins Certification preferred; CDL license preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, trailers, and heavy equipment
Troubleshoot fuel, brake, transmission, hydraulic, suspension, exhaust, and electrical systems
Use diagnostic software and tools, including Davie 4, to identify and resolve issues
Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
Test equipment after repairs to ensure safe operation and performance
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records in compliance with DOT and company standards
Follow all OSHA and DOT safety requirements
