Amerit Fleet Solutions in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to maintain a fleet of light to heavy-duty trucks and CAT equipment, with emphasis on diesel engines, brakes, tires, AC, and regular PMs.

You will prepare vehicle records, perform safety inspections, and interact with clients; the role requires 5+ years' experience or a diploma, valid CDL Class C, and the ability to operate manual transmissions; benefits start within 30 days and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ vehicle maintenance experience or auto/diesel tech diploma
• Experience servicing CAT equipment, generators, and warehouse equipment
• ASE Certifications preferred
• Valid Driver’s License - Class C

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on a diverse fleet of light- to heavy-duty trucks
• Work on diesel engines, brakes, tires, AC, and PM services
• Prepare vehicle records manually and on a computer
• Perform safety inspections and document results
• Comply with all applicable laws and company policies
• Move parts to and from the job site and access tight spaces as needed
