Job Title: Diesel Fleet Mechanic - 2nd Class

Join us at One Stop Distribution Inc as a Diesel Fleet Mechanic - 2nd Class.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 tractor trailer semi units.
• Maintain and repair equipment to ensure a safe fleet and compliance with all State and Federal trucking regulations.
• Tasks include brakes, rear trailer doors, structural welding, tires, suspension and axle work, electrical lighting, and engine repair (oil changes, diesel repairs, etc.).
• Mandatory overtime may be required.

Qualifications:

• Possess a DOT health card.
• Own set of tools.
• CDL required, with the ability to attain CDL-A within 18 months.
• Computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Ability to perform vehicle diagnostics with scan tools.

Starting pay rate: $28.00/hr.
