Job summary

Same Day Oil Delivery is seeking a part-time diesel mechanic to maintain a fleet of fuel delivery trucks in Bristol, PA. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose engine and chassis issues, and ensure DOT inspections are documented and compliant.

Work around 50 lbs lifting, with access to hand tools and a flexible schedule that adapts to fleet needs. Prior diesel/truck experience preferred and a clean MVR is required to keep trucks on the road.

Qualifications

• Proven diesel or medium/heavy-duty truck experience.
• Own hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean MVR — you will road-test what you fix.
• Able to pass a background check and a drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet and under trucks — heavier parts are moved with a jack, hoist or a second set of hands, not carried.

• Winter readiness: fuel gelling, block heaters, batteries, tires

Keep a fleet of fuel delivery trucks on the road. This is the diagnostic seat — something is wrong and nobody yet knows what.

Schedule: Part time and flexible — we care that the trucks are ready, not that you are here 9 to 5. We build a schedule with each part-time employee, around your availability and what the fleet needs.

Location: Bristol, PA 19007, with routes across Bucks and Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Nice to have

• DOT-qualified annual inspector (49 CFR 396.19) and brake inspector (396.25) — say so, it matters to us
• CDL, even without endorsements, so you can move trucks
• Air brake, hydraulic or welding experience
• Experience with fuel meters, registers or tank trucks specifically
