TEEMA Solutions is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician (Diesel Engines) to diagnose, service, and repair diesel-powered equipment at customer locations throughout Waterbury and New Haven, CT. The role requires strong engine diagnostics, electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

You will work with OEM software and manuals, provide preventative maintenance, and communicate findings clearly to customers.

Competenze

• 5+ years of hands-on diesel engine diagnostics and repair experience preferred.
• Field service experience servicing diesel-powered equipment.
• Experience with major diesel engine OEMs (Caterpillar, Cummins, John Deere, Perkins, Isuzu or similar).
• Strong knowledge of diesel fuel and electrical systems and after-treatment tech.
• Ability to use diagnostic software and interpret fault codes.
• Valid driver’s licence required.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related equipment at customer locations.
• Identify and resolve electrical, fuel, cooling and emissions problems.
• Use OEM diagnostic software and wiring diagrams to identify failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency service.
• Troubleshoot engine controls and after‑treatment systems.
• Communicate findings and recommended repairs to customers.
• Maintain service records and documentation.
• Work independently with safety and customer-service focus.
