Boyd Company is seeking a Diesel Heavy Equipment Student Technician Apprentice in Louisville for a full-time entry-level program. The role rotates after four weeks of instruction at the Louisville Training Center to a hosting Boyd location, totaling 8 weeks of unpaid classroom training and 4 weeks of paid internship.

Compensation is up to $24.00 per hour. Responsibilities include learning to read and interpret manuals, using test equipment, and advancing toward Apprentice Technician status

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Able to communicate with team members and customers.

Responsabilités

• Learn to read and interpret technical instruction, service and safety manuals, company policies and procedures.
• Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and electric/electronic schematics and wiring diagrams; use test equipment proficiently.
• Maintain high-quality academic performance and morals.
• Respond to customer requests professionally and timely; keep manager informed.
