Job summary

United Ag & Turf NE is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair engine components including small engines and agricultural equipment sold in the market area. Work must be performed safely, professionally, and in a timely manner, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and typically involves Monday–Friday 1st shift with Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED requested.
• 2–3 years’ mechanic experience with small engines, diesel and gas engines preferable.
• Experience with John Deere equipment preferred.
• Able to work a varying schedule/shift, including after-hours calls.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; good organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer- and dealer-owned equipment.
• Ensure work is completed with high quality and safety standards.
• Interact with customers, diagnose, troubleshoot using tools, and perform repairs.
