Job summary

Capital Tractor is seeking a Service Technician in Andalusia, AL to perform repair work and maintenance on a range of diesel and gas-powered equipment. The role requires diagnosing mechanical defects, welding, electrical wiring repairs and hydraulic system service with attention to safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will have extensive equipment repair knowledge, ability to read wiring diagrams and parts manuals, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical defects and determine repair extent for tractors and heavy equipment.
• Weld and fabricate as needed.
• Diagnose and repair automotive-style air conditioning systems.
• Perform diagnostics on CAN Bus systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical wiring.
• Work on hydraulic systems, including pumps and cylinders.
• Document repairs clearly and completely.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
