This role is ideal for someone in a technical school program or certification, with potential for full-time opportunities in automotive, diesel or related mechanical fields.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and pursuing technical degree or certification.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with foundational knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive and sense of urgency.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn types of equipment United Rentals rents and their applications.
• Learn manual and maintenance tasks to support branch operations.
• Provide labor assistance to seasoned mechanics.
