Job summary

Aditi Consulting is seeking an engineer to define detailed engine test plans, analyze results, and calibrate base engine software. The role involves guiding cross-group teams and contributing to engine and aftertreatment hardware development.

The candidate should have 1-2 years’ experience in engine development, 2-3 years in performance and emissions for heavy-duty diesel engines, and familiarity with DOE, modeling, and optimization techniques. A BS and MS in engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical, Agricultural, Systems, or Electrical Engineering as listed.
• 1-2 years’ experience with engine development or engine control system development or engine component/subsystem development.
• 2-3 years’ experience in performance and emissions development of heavy-duty diesel engines, including controller development tools.
• 2-3 years’ experience using Design of Experiment methodologies, modeling, and optimization techniques.
• Diesel aftertreatment component experiences.
• Excellent communication within engineering teams.
• Quality oriented with proactive results.
• Documented strong engineering problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Define detailed engine test plans and schedule dyno test work.
• Analyze test results, present findings, and lead discussions.
• Calibrate base engine software features and help develop new software features.
• Provide technical guidance to other groups (field performance, calibration, applications).
• Contribute to engine and aftertreatment hardware development.
