Job summary

WM is seeking a Diesel/CNG Mechanic at our Woburn, MA site to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and natural gas powered equipment. You will work under general supervision with emphasis on safe, efficient operation and quality workmanship.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, 2+ years in relevant work, and the ability to document tasks and use fleet maintenance software. Competitive benefits and stable hours are offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years as a mechanic technician, working on heavy equipment/trucks or similar role.
• 2 years inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and stationary equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located.
• Valid Driver's License Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering.
• Test vehicle systems and adjust settings for proper function.
• Document work and parts usage using fleet maintenance software.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety procedures.
• Provide support and training to junior technicians as needed.
