Work Hours & Location

• Monday – Friday, 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm (second shift)
• Occasional Saturdays
• Stable hours for financial security and work‑life balance
• Repair / maintenance shop at Pen Argyl, PA hauling site

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles (priority is employee and community safety)
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times
• Assist senior mechanics in the completion of project work
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate and OSHA standards
• Use modern tools and procedures to deliver exceptional maintenance on diesel equipment and, at some locations, on the growing fleet of CNG trucks

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
• Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals and other occupational risks often
• Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often
• Operations in inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity
