Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–4 years of practical diesel maintenance experience preferred.
• Vocational or technical certifications in repair of vehicle components preferred.
• Proficiency in using shop tools is required.
• CDL with air brake certification and passenger endorsement is highly recommended.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and maintenance systems.
• Willingness to travel and work at various sites.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Aufgaben

• Repair and diagnose major components on bus/motorcoach equipment.
• Identify parts needed for repair of disassembled units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
• Inspect brakes, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other critical parts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with safety policies.
• Use test instruments to diagnose defects and verify repairs.
