Job summary

TransWest is seeking skilled technicians to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of motorcoaches, shuttles, and light- to heavy-duty vehicles in Washington and California. You will perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs across engines, electrical, HVAC, and drive systems, using OEM tools and diagnostic software.

Qualifications

Professional experience maintaining and repairing vehicles or completion of relevant programs.
Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical, brake, powertrain, steering and HVAC systems.
Familiarity with diagnostic software and OEM tools.
Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and maintain MEC as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet vehicles.
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC systems.
Review maintenance schedules and defect reports to improve vehicle availability.
Maintain accurate repair records, parts inventory, and fleet files.
Utilize OEM software and tools to troubleshoot vehicle systems.
Conduct road tests and field service calls as needed.
Support installation and troubleshooting of onboard vehicle technology.
Collaborate with leadership and operations to ensure fleet reliability.
