Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking an Automotive and Diesel Technician in Atlantic City, NJ. You will perform engine repairs, assist senior mechanics, and carry out maintenance to optimize diesel performance in a full-time, Monday–Friday role.

The job offers a union payscale, with benefits including vacation, holidays, sick leave, and retirement options. Expect to work outdoors in varying conditions and to pass a pre-employment drug screen where applicable.

Qualifications

• Dodge, Chevy, Ford experience preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Mechanic’s Tool Set.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements on automotive engines, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize diesel engine performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for diesel engines.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
• Other duties as required.
