Job summary

Wilhelm Automotive, part of the Sun Auto Network, seeks a Diesel Automotive Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles per MAP and standards. You will explain findings to customers and managers, document repairs, and maintain ASE certifications while adhering to safety rules.

Qualifications

• ASE or equivalent experience or training preferred.
• Current, valid driver’s license required.
• Able to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certifications and experience.
• Performs work as outlined on inspection and repair orders with accuracy.
• Explains diagnosis and repairs to non-mechanics (managers, consultants, customers).
• Recommends necessary services and documents recommendations in the file.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to leadership.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals as needed.
