Amerit Fleet Solutions in Toledo, OH is seeking a Diesel & Automotive Technician/Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles. The role offers weekly pay and full benefits after 30 days, with a schedule of Tue-Fri 2:00pm-10:30pm and Sat 8:00am-4:30pm.

Applicants should have 5+ years of hands-on diesel and automotive experience, strong diagnostics, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' hands-on experience performing diesel and automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations
