Pomps Tire Service Inc in Michigan is seeking a Diesel and Automotive Mechanic to service auto, light truck and heavy-duty vehicles. You will perform routine mechanical tasks, diagnose issues, and help keep fleets safe and on the road.

Qualifications

• Diesel mechanical knowledge/experience required.
• Passenger automotive knowledge/experience required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrench and other essential tools.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and reach.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical services including oil changes, tire alignments, brake and shock replacements.
• Maintain and replace tires to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Care for and maintain tools and equipment to ensure their proper function.
• Troubleshoot customer needs and inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repairs.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager to support operations.
