Amerit Fleet Solutions in San Luis Obispo, CA, is hiring a Diesel/Automotive Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles. The role offers weekly pay and full benefits within 30 days, with opportunities for growth across a national company.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on automotive maintenance experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver's license. You’ll work a 6:00am–2:30pm schedule, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced mobile/shop

Qualifications

5+ years’ hands-on automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to meet physical demands and pass pre-employment screenings including drug test.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Document repairs and complete work orders accurately.
Keep tools and workspace clean and organized.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to support fleet operations.
