Job summary

Quality Truck Care Center in Oshkosh, WI is hiring a Diesel / Alignment Technician for day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 3:30. Top wages based on experience, with a clean, modern, supportive environment.

You’ll diagnose and repair diesel trucks, perform alignments, wheel balancing, and PDIs, and install vehicle accessories. We offer extensive training, tuition assistance, and strong advancement opportunities within a family-first culture.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License (CDL preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform hands-on tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Determines necessary mechanical, electrical, or other areas that need repair to meet the customer’s expectations.
• Diagnoses and repairs truck breakdowns.
• Performs repairs to transmission, driveline, and differentials.
• Performs new vehicle PDIs (pre-delivery inspections) and checks components for proper operation.
• Installs accessories to vehicles and ensures proper fit and function.
• Diagnose steering, suspension, and driveline issues and repair components.
• Performs wheel alignments and balance.
• Drives vehicle onto alignment rack and tests for faults, installs necessary components for proper alignment.
• Completes forms, timecards, and parts requests associated with repairs.
• Represents Quality Truck Care Center professionally and maintains a clean work area.
