Job summary

AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing is seeking a Technician to support secondary production by changing dies, sliding in dies or cassettes, and performing routine tooling changes.

The role requires manual dexterity, use of hand tools and measuring devices, and must be able to obtain Powered Industrial Truck certification. You will help maintain tooling inventory and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience with dies.

Responsibilities

• Change dies at presses and slide in dies or cassettes.
• Check tooling for cracks, wear, and die life.
• Replace worn shims and maintain tooling inventory.
• Use small & large hand tools and measuring devices.
• Must be able to obtain Powered Industrial Truck certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Area Group Lead.
