Job summary

AUTOKINITON is seeking a full-time production operator at our Belleville, MI facility. You will set up dies and fixtures, interpret specifications, and adjust machine parameters to meet tolerances, while maintaining safety standards.

You will inspect parts for defects and report any issues promptly, contributing to continuous improvement as part of a high-performance team focused on quality and reliability. Relocation assistance and strong benefits support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• One to three months related experience and/or training.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use Micrometers, Calipers, Scales, Hilo License.

Responsibilities

• Setup dies, fixtures, or assemblies assigned to production operators in accordance with MIOSHA standards and company procedures.
• Interprets specifications.
• Reports equipment failures and unusual sounds of equipment.
• Selects and sets speed and feed of machine according to type of operation and specified material and finish.
• Starts machine to obtain first run workpiece and verifies dimensional tolerances.
• Inspects components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, etc...
• Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.
