Job summary

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Die Setter / Machine Operator for a direct-hire opportunity with our manufacturing client in Philadelphia, PA. This role focuses on setting up production lines, changing over dies, and fine-tuning packaging equipment to ensure quality output.

You will operate stamping presses and packaging lines, perform basic maintenance, monitor materials, manage inventory records, and move materials with a forklift.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as Die Setter/Die Changer in metal stamping or injection molding.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience setting up production machinery.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• Basic math skills for measurements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Die Setter / Machine Operator for a direct-hire opportunity with our client, a manufacturing company in Philadelphia, PA.

Position Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $24 + depends on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and perform production line changeovers between products, including installing, adjusting, and fine-tuning precision stamping dies and packaging equipment.
• Operate multiple stamping presses and packaging lines with varying levels of automation.
• Perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and make adjustments to keep production running efficiently.
• Monitor production materials and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Operate forklifts to move materials safely throughout the facility.
• Follow production specifications and quality standards to ensure consistent output.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Die Setter, Die Changer, or in a similar role within a metal stamping or injection molding environment.
