ACEMCO, a leading metal stamping manufacturer in Spring Lake, Michigan, since 1946, is seeking die setters for our stamping plant.
You will set up tooling, load coils, and operate power presses to manufacture metal products. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and related die setter experience in a stamping facility. Shift hours include 1st shift 6 a.m.–2 p.m. and 3rd shift 10 p.m.–6 a.m., with overtime on weekends.

$20 to 30 an hour. Pay is dependent on experience and skill set. The amountis not inclusive of the total compensation package.
You will be working as an experienced Die Setter in the set-up and operations of the power press to manufacture metal products by performing the following responsibilities. As a die setter, you will perform a variety of operations including but not limited to:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hearing protection is required and supplied. Eye protection (safety glasses) is required and supplied. You are required to purchase and wear steel-toe safety shoes or boots.
