Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a Die Room Technician to manage the die room operations, including setup, cleanup, and continuous improvement suggestions. The role requires reading factory masters, handling dies, and maintaining equipment while adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and a background in the corrugated industry is preferred. Growth opportunities and internal promotions are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: prior work in the corrugated industry.
• 6 months experience in the Press and Finishing Department.
• Prior work experience as a forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Take correct printing dies to press department machines.
• Pick up all printing dies from press department machines and return to die room after order is complete.
• Wash all dirty printing dies, remove tape, and band type.
• Inspect all incoming dies for any necessary repairs. Glue and seal loose dies returned from machines.
