Job summary

Intex in Livonia, MI, is seeking a Die Shop Technician to polish and maintain extrusion dies and support production. You will load, operate dies, and assist with caustic cleaning, while following safety protocols and maintaining a clean workstation.

Ideal candidates have experience with die handling, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a team. Training on days, afternoons, evenings; overtime and Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English fluently.
• Must be reliable with good attendance and teamwork.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; basic computer skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and polish dies to prepare for production.
• Load, start and monitor dies and caustic cleaning processes.
• Operate hand tools and assemble/break down tooling as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and follow safety protocols.
• Meet production schedules and assist in die corrections as required.
