Job summary

Intex in Idaho is seeking a Die Shop Technician to support extrusion die maintenance and polishing. You will inspect and polish dies, assist in die corrections, load and monitor dies, and ensure clean, safe operation across shifts.

Candidates should have experience in a manufacturing environment, be fluent in English, able to lift 75 pounds, and willing to work at Garden City or Livonia locations. A high school diploma or GED is required; safety and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English fluently.
• Prior die/die shop experience preferred.
• Willing to work at Garden City or Livonia locations.
• Must pass background check and substance screening; medical exam may be required.
• Physical ability to lift 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and Polish dies so they are ready for production.
• Assist in die corrections.
• Load, start and monitor nitrider.
• Deliver dies to presses and retrieve extruded dies for caustic/storage.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment; wear safety equipment.
