Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking skilled machinists to operate CNC mills and lathes, fabricate components per drawings, and maintain dies and tooling. The role requires setting up equipment, troubleshooting dies, and training teammates.

Heat treat capabilities are a plus, with supervision to ensure quality and efficiency. Associates degree in a technical field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an appropriate technical school preferred.
• Equivalent experience and other credentials will be evaluated for qualification.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to tolerances of +/- .0005.
• Repair, revise, duplicate and fabricate components per drawings.
• Maintain tooling and dies, including perforating, blanking and progressive dies.
• Change components in dies and in presses.
• Independently perform set-ups for assignments and train others in the department.
• Operate heat treat equipment (ovens, hardness tester).
• Report to shift supervisor and follow advisory directions.
