Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and maintain stamping dies, die cast molds, and injection rubber/nylon molds to support production needs. This permanent, onsite role is based out of Jackson, MI.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, a journeyman’s card or 5 years of related experience, and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Benefits and stability are provided by Aerotek.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting of mechanical issues.
• Excellent visual accuracy and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot stamping dies, die cast molds, and injection rubber/nylon molds.
• Repair and maintain dies, molds, and tooling to support production needs.
• Assist with Quality Circle activities within the die maintenance teams.
• Provide support to production when required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining stamping dies, die cast molds, and injection rubber/nylon molds to support production needs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot all stamping dies, die cast molds, and injection rubber/nylon molds.
• Repair and maintain all stamping dies, die cast molds, injection rubber/nylon molds, and tooling to support production needs.
• Assist with Quality Circle activities within the die maintenance teams.
• Provide support to production when required.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman’s card or 5 years of documented related experience in the trade.
• Excellent visual accuracy.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to mentally add, subtract, divide, and multiply.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Formal training at a recognized trade school.
• Experience in all areas of die maintenance.
• College or equipment maker experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $77272.00 - $77272.00/yr.
