Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Die Cutter Operator in Marietta, GA. The role sets up, maintains, and operates the die cutting equipment to meet safety and production targets while maintaining quality standards.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, good math and computer skills, and the ability to follow technical instructions and work with minimal supervision. Overtime may be required. Experience with BOBST die cutters is preferred.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working in a medium to large format is preferred.
• 1-3 years running a BOBST Die Cutter is strongly preferred.
• Strong Mechanical aptitude/skills
• Requires experience running, troubleshooting and quality control.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision, understand technical written (and verbal) instructions, set-up the die cutter, and carry out instructions.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Strong math skills required.
• Ability to accurately distinguish color variation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and run the die cutter to meet safety and productivity standards.
• Examine job order quantities, stock specs, and die cutting instructions.
• Inspect dies for defects and apply corrective actions.
• Make adjustments to ensure quality and communicate between shifts.
• Maintain safety, quality and production standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the Die Cutter.
