Priority Envelope, Inc., is a leading manufacturer and supplier of custom envelopes distributed throughout the U.S. We are a customer-focused, integrity-based organization, providing solutions for our customers.

Currently, we are seeking a Full-Time Die Cutter Operator (AMC) in Lenexa, KS. The Die Cutter Operator (AMC) is responsible for programming, setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated die-cutting equipment that supplies paper stock to the converting department in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.

The essential duties associated with the Die Cutter Operator include:

  • Programming layout specifications, performing setups on cutting and loading equipment according to job specifications and standard work procedures.

  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive, emergency, and scheduled maintenance on equipment.

  • Maintaining production records, equipment logs, and computer software entries accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Providing critical information and feedback to Scheduling and Production Supervision regarding job status.

  • Complying with all good housekeeping and safety requirements to ensure the safety of others throughout the facility.

  • Operating forklift safely and maintaining an updated certification.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • One to three years of die-cutting experience.

  • Accurate skills in math and ruling; attention to precision and detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate positively and be open to process changes.

  • Demonstrated punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed.
