Currently, we are seeking a Full-Time Die Cutter Operator (AMC) in Lenexa, KS. The Die Cutter Operator (AMC) is responsible for programming, setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated die-cutting equipment that supplies paper stock to the converting department in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
The essential duties associated with the Die Cutter Operator include:
Programming layout specifications, performing setups on cutting and loading equipment according to job specifications and standard work procedures.
Troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive, emergency, and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
Maintaining production records, equipment logs, and computer software entries accurately and in a timely manner.
Providing critical information and feedback to Scheduling and Production Supervision regarding job status.
Complying with all good housekeeping and safety requirements to ensure the safety of others throughout the facility.
Operating forklift safely and maintaining an updated certification.
The successful candidate will have:
A high school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three years of die-cutting experience.
Accurate skills in math and ruling; attention to precision and detail.
Demonstrated ability to communicate positively and be open to process changes.
Demonstrated punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed.
