Job Title: Die-Cut Machine Operator

Employment Status: Full time

Work Schedule: 2nd & 3rd Shift

Work hours are subject to change based on customers’ demands

Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to set up and operate the die cutter accurately to ensure the quality of products produced meets customers’ specifications.

Essential Functions:

• Packing of product by counting pieces, stripping, labeling, checking for quality defects, and placing product into a box, carton, or on pallets
• Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Set up cutting dies (registration)
• Make ready dies
• Apply matrix
• Maintain die cutter (lubrication)

Goals:

• Housekeeping – Tour Ready Daily
• Proficient in set-up and operation of die cutting machine
• Maintain established machine rates for pieces produced per hour

Qualifications:

• Must be a team player
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Mechanical aptitude and self-starter
• Knowledge of required job skills, ability to learn, minimal supervision

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Work Environment: Moderately noisy environment
