Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math, reading and writing.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience required.
• Apprenticeship or two years related experience preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred; reading blueprints ability.
• Basic computer skills and blueprint reading ability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems related to die cast and trim dies on the production floor.
• Service and repair die cast dies, trim dies and fixtures using precision tools.
• Operate drills, grinders, lathes, mills and maintain equipment.
• Perform welding tasks as required and maintain inventory.
• Keep work area clean and safe; complete end-of-run paperwork accurately.
• Cross-train and collaborate with team; overtime as needed.
• Report daily activities and assist with continuous improvement.
