Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks a Die Casting Equipment Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and set up production equipment on the shop floor. You’ll apply mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge to maintain quality parts and maximize uptime.

Responsibilities include reviewing control charts, troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, performing preventative maintenance, and executing tooling modifications. Forklift operation may be required.

Qualifications

• Review SPC charts and adjust equipment to keep parts within specification.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, heating, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Machining and bench work to modify or repair tools, dies, fixtures, gauges.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and components.

Responsibilities

• Review SPC charts and interpret trends to maintain part specification.
• Move between workstations to diagnose and repair diverse equipment issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Modify or repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and guarding.
• Support safe material handling by operating a forklift as needed.
