Qualifications

• Set up and operate hydraulic trim presses which can be learned on the job.
• Follow verbal and written die cast procedure instructions.
• Work cooperatively with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up the trim press and adjust to minimize safety hazards and achieve high quality production.
• Operate the trim press to produce quality finished parts that meet standards.
• Check initial pieces for quality and monitor parts to minimize waste and remelt.
• Notify lead personnel of machine problems promptly.
• Provide information to maintenance and tool room to diagnose equipment issues.
• Keep accurate time and job records.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace using 5S practices.
• Follow safety procedures and policy; maintain good attendance.
• Support QMS and EMS compliance and align with company goals.
