Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC, in partnership with a leading local manufacturer in South Charleston, OH, is seeking a Die Cast Technician to help ensure dies and related equipment run reliably to produce high-quality automotive parts for the global market.

You will troubleshoot complex machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with coworkers and vendors to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience in Die/Mold maintenance.
• Knowledge of machines used in YNA production.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes and respond promptly to die maintenance calls.
• Troubleshoot issues, determine the necessary corrective actions, and perform repairs or adjustments to dies.
• Install, rebuild, modify, and clean die parts as necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment reliability.
• Manage and organize spare part inventory and research the availability of needed parts.
• Track downtime issues to identify and predict necessary preventative maintenance items.
• Collaborate effectively with co-workers, customers, and outside vendors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment for all associates.

Position Details

Direct-hire, permanent role with immediate benefits. Pay range from $22.54-$24.29 with room for growth!!

Qualifications

• Specific knowledge of machines used in YNA production.
• Technical proficiency in welding, basic mold maintenance, basic mechanical, basic hydraulics, basic pneumatics, and basic electric skills.
• Competency using hand tools, pneumatic tools, grinders, bandsaws, multimeters, and electric tools.
• Physical ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive arm movements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand on concrete for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime and work in environments with temperatures up to 120 degrees.

Working hours: Various Shifts Available.
