Job summary

Orion Castings is seeking Diecast Operators to support production of metal die cast parts weighing from ounces to 30 pounds+. You will perform quality checks and learn multiple processes to maintain product quality and process efficiency.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to ISO/TS procedures, and continuous improvement. You may train new employees and work with cross-functional teams to ensure production goals are met.

Qualifications

• High school or GED diploma required or equivalent.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to read written directives.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Remove gates and runners per work instructions and inspect parts for quality.
• Operate trim presses and remove excess metal.
• Understand die cast process, including die, gates, runners, and venting.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow safety policies.
