Job summary

Yamad in South Charleston, OH is seeking a Die/Mold Maintenance Technician to keep dies and molds running with minimal downtime. You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor downtime, and manage monthly inventories and paperwork.

The role requires 1–2 years of die/mold maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work overtime in a hot production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years experience in Die/Mold maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of dies/molds, welding and basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, grinders, bandsaws, multimeters, and electric tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitors production, responds to die maintenance calls, troubleshoots die problems, determines corrective action, and repairs/adjusts dies as necessary.
• Monitors and organizes spare part inventory, researches availability of needed parts.
• Tracks downtime issues to predict necessary preventative maintenance items.
• Installs, rebuilds, modifies, and cleans die parts as necessary.
• Performs preventative maintenance to die to prevent downtime.
