Working under moderate supervision, this position, Implementation Engineer (IE), will partner with others within the Professional Services organization and project team to ensure an accurate and timely deployment of our solutions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for technical application installation, configuration and troubleshooting
  2. Participate in client planning meetings with Project Managers designing network configurations and hardware deployment strategies
  3. Work with project managers to schedule and execute installation tasks
  4. Work with client and vendor to verify DICOM Conformance
  5. Work with client and vendor to implement DICOM Modality Worklist and Image Transfer workflows
  6. Work with client and vendor to execute DICOM Data Migrations
  7. Support HL7 interfacing throughout the solution
  8. Support Custom Engineers regarding other Data Migrations as required
  9. Assist clients with test plan design and execution
  10. Provide focused support during Go-Live phase
  11. Participate in Transition to Support meetings
  12. Create, track and close cases within the CRM
  13. Ensure accurate and updated records within the CRM
  14. Master all products within area of responsibility
  15. Create & Submit product issues and enhancements to Product Management.
  16. Pursues a program of self-development through the use of selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education.
  17. Identifies and communicates possible improvements in the work process for clients and peers.
  18. Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.

  • Strong background HL7 & DICOM protocols

  • Strong background in healthcare informatics and workflow systems

  • Familiarization with Server Platforms and Storage systems (SAN, NAS)
  • Familiarization with DBMS (SQL & Oracle)
  • Familiarization of Source Control systems
  • Familiarization of Defect Tracking Systems
Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Experience:

[Preferred] Three (3) years of Healthcare IT experience.

A valid Drivers License and safe driving record.
